Mac Desktop Calendar Faded

The grid lines on my calendar app lately are very faint and I have tried all kinds of ways to make them show but to no avail.
Internet search did not help and seems like a lot of users have same complaint
Anyone else have that problem ?

My Mac is late 2015 so I am stuck with Monterey which has been just fine for me.
It came with the Google map already in the system but the map sure has deteriorated over the years and I don't see any way to do a new download

I did find in my travels that Mac does have an Apple calendar built in but I cannot locate it.

Try increasing the contrast or saturation (probly contrast)
Go to Apple menu, System Settings, click Accessibility in the sidebar(

), then click Display on the right (you might need to scroll down) and see if there's a setting or barscale for Contrast.

You should be able to find Calendar in Apps & Features. Go to Control Panel and find Apps & Features. Or it might come up on a menu when you press the Start button. Also, there should be free calendar downloads in the Apple Store. You could check those out.

Thanks for reply but I have been through every setting in Mac for appearance etc., and of course the Apple Store.
......with Mac for ten years so fairly knowledgeable.

In the Apple Store......

This app is available only on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.

Calendar 4+

There are other maps available , not free, but what I am looking for is the one that is supposed to be built in to the system
and that appears to be Google. However seems to me it is not in Mac system but an application.

p.s. Siri couldn't find it either:LOL:
