Mac Wi-Fi issue: keychain not holding the password for a wi-fi router

I use a recent model MacBook Pro. I'm guessing my problem could be common to other Mac products, including iPhones.

My laptop has usually been perfect in saving routinely-used wi-fi passwords However, it doesn't save the password for one wi-fi I've been using repeatedly, though not continually. Meaning I have to re-enter the password at least a couple times in a half hour of usage.

I searched the internet for insight and a remedy procedure, and all I could learn is that this is a keychain issue. I failed to find a procedural how-to-fix online. Please help if you have knowledge about how to remedy this sort of problem. Thanks.
