It is now 3 PM and Amazon Fresh will deliver to my door my first order that I just submitted for my requested time of between 10 AM to 12 PM tomorrow. I ordered bananas, fresh strawberries. bag of mandarins, avocados, asparagus,1doz large eggs, .Greek Yogurt shrimp. halibut, bagged salad & several other fresh items.
. Because I am a Prime Member the first order is FREE and later there is no delivery charge for orders over $40.00. This order is just over $50.00 so it doesn't matter anyway. The individual charges are really good and better than me going going to the super market I will post pictures of the delivery tomorrow. . BTW I could have requested delivery for later today or evening but I will not be home.
The thing that puzzles me is Where does the food come from? I know it has to be pretty close to where I live to keep items fresh and I wonder how Amazon negotiates this arrangement because it seems bound to piss off some merchants that don't participate.
