Maggie Smith Passes Away at 89

Maggie Smith passed away in London today. I loved her as the Dowager Countess in Downton Abbey & as Professor McGonagall in the Harry Potter movies.

Rest in Peace, you will be missed.

She really nailed that role in Downton Abbey. She may have been the most convincing actor in the series, followed by Carson. Hell, the whole cast was great.

Another great has gone. I was so sorry to find out she has passed. She was one of my favorites and was one of the reasons I started watching Downton Abbey. I absolutely loved her in that. Loved her in Sister Act as well. R.I.P. Dame Maggie!
