There are probably other magnesium threads around here but I'll start this one re: osteoporosis. We are talking about this on another health group and the member was talking about starting Fosamax, a no no in my book. More dangerous than good.
I've been taking way more magnesium for probably 20 yrs or so and get my calcium from foods mostly and count on Vit D3 too. All in all my bones are strong and I don't bother with bone density tests, had one about 20 some yrs ago but I love to teach myself and heal myself as best I can.

There is plenty of info on the Mg deficiency in the U.S. for sure.
