6.8 in Taiwan. "A strong earthquake shook much of Taiwan on Sunday, toppling a three-storey building and temporarily trapping four people inside, stranding about 400 tourists on a mountainside, and knocking part of a passenger train off its tracks."

Taiwan is home for one of my Eons/FB friends who is now in the states. I asked if she still have family there. She has two brothers who were not in the areas where major damage occurred, thank God.
7.6 in Mexico. "Earthquake hits western Mexico on the anniversary of two previous quakes that left the country reeling in 1985 and 2017."
To add to the irony an emergency drill had just taken place an hour before the quake hit.

One person died in Taiwan and one in Mexico.
