Making good friends in your online forum life.

Over my years with online forums, I have made good friends that will
hopefully last a life time. Some have been well worth it, while a few have
not.

Sure, it happens a good deal. There are some I've been in contact with for a couple of decades now, from both forums and chat sites. There are even professional contacts I've stayed in touch with this way after being retired for 13 years.

I belong to a small forum which likes to discuss paranormal stuff. Over the years we have prayed for those who were ill, sent gifts to others and provided emotional and spiritual support to each other. I have a sense of belonging there, that I can't find anywhere else!
I have been a member for nearly five years. One thing that makes it work is that there is zero tolerance for religion bashing, politics or trolling. There is a core group that keeps it going and I love it.

I have made some great connections with some seniors but I’ve also met some not so great connections. One person writes to me everyday. It’s been 6 1/2 years since I’ve been here.

I have made good friends online, the closest are 3 former members from here. We originally used a Forum format to keep communicating but switched to Telegram awhile back.
