Making Popcorn At Home.

I bought a whirly pop but haven't used it. Kind of scared of it I guess. I don't have an air popper. I was at Trader Joe's this morning and they didn't have any plain popped popcorn in bags already popped.

If you make popcorn at home, what do you use to make it. Thanks.

we have an air popper older version had it for years.

My only real complaint is at end of popping seems like the stray kernels pop and shoot all over find half popped kernels all over counter / floor.

I do it the old fashioned way in a pan with a cover on top of the stove.

Check YouTube for some simple microwave methods.

Popcorn is an example of those simple inexpensive things we all had growing up that have now become more complicated and expensive than they need to be.

When I used to be able to eat popcorn, I always bought the microwave packs; they turned out pretty good and were convenient to use but I bet it's more expensive to do it that way than buying the plain popcorn & popping it in the microwave as Aunt Bea suggested above.

Since in recent years I have a glass top stove, I can't shake the pot or I'll scratch it. :(
