Man, 56, dies after getting trapped in Southern California car wash, police say

The accident caused an alarm to sound, drawing the attention of another nearby customer, who called police, he said.

Officers managed to pull the man out and he was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to officials.

At most car washes i have ever been in there are tons of signs and warnings to stay in vehicle ...
this like most all other signs or restrictions these days some person decides they can still do it......
most likely there will be a lawsuit on car wash be family ....

Sounds like the guy's car was stuck, and since it was self-serve, he decided to find a way out. If his car hadn't slipped...oh well.
