Man Whose Wife Won Lawsuit To Treat His COVID-19 With Invermectin Has Died

Keith Smith, whose wife had gone to court to have his COVID-19 infection treated with ivermectin, died Sunday evening, a week after he received his first dose of the controversial drug.

Smith was in a hospital in Pennsylvania for nearly three weeks and had been in the hospital’s intensive care unit in a medically induced coma on a ventilator since Nov. 21. He had been diagnosed with the virus on Nov. 10.

His wife of 24 years, Darla, had gone to court to compel the hospital, UPMC Memorial, to treat her husband with ivermectin, an anti-parasitic drug that has not been approved for treatment of COVID-19.

York County Court Judge Clyde Vedder’s Dec. 3 decision did not compel the hospital to treat Keith with the drug, but it did allow Darla to have an independent physician administer it. He received two doses before Keith’s condition grew worse, and the doctor halted the treatment.

It sounds like this woman found a way to rid herself of her husband, legally, and with minimal hassle. I wonder if he had a big life insurance policy.

Yep, just like 3 married couples in my hometown...two in their mid 50's, one in their mid 60's and 2 more people who also refused to get vaccinated. All died within the last week and a half. They felt natural immunity would prevail. How wrong they were.

no need to do much but google about this subject ...
What a waste of time and effort for these hospitals to spend more time fighting ...........then to just administer a medication.
This link is one that finally is fining hospitals for IGNORING a court order. refusing a doctor willing to give the medication......

when i googled "hospitals IGNORED court" there were MANY MANY that hospitals just decided NOPE even after losing in court .....
WHY ... why not try ? why waste a patients last days perhaps to feel superior ?
What happened to do no harm and try for the patient?

what is the worst some people may respond ? some people may get better and free up a precious bed ?

Or is it more like a child that simply decides no one can tell them............... they KNOW they are right..... some people may regret a decision to not get shot and so many want to do a HAPPY dance over that ....What does it say about them?

or doctors who even if it has a very small chance decided NOPE cause i don't want to be wrong.
It is a sad world when those who choose their own ego over people.
