Mario Batali fired from "The Chew" - sexual misconduct allegations

This happened a week ago but haven't heard much about it. After an investigation Marion Batali has been fired from "The Chew" because of sexual misconduct allegations. (So the 5 person team is now 3 - Clinton, Michael, & Carla. Daphne Oz left some time ago ....just gave birth to her third child.)

I've watched the show recently and I don't recall anything being said. It's a fast-moving, peppy cooking show with celebrity guests. I did hear it mentioned on ABC News and also Entertainment Tonight.

Anyway, here's a link about Mario. He said:

“As many of you know, this week there has been some news coverage about some of my past behavior,” Batali wrote on Friday. “I have made many mistakes and I am so very sorry that I have disappointed my friends, my family, my fans and my team. My behavior was wrong and there are no excuses. I take full responsibility.”​

I don't usually watch cooking shows but have on occasion watched Rachel Ray because of the guest(s) she had on. While channel surfing and coming across The Chew, something about Batali turned me off. Didn't like him at all. Apparently by his statement(s), he admits it. If his firing wasn't addressed on The Chew,it's the opposite of how NBC's Today show handled the Matt Lauer firing.
