Massive underwater mountain discovered off the QLD coast

I read a claim one time that we know more about outer space than we do about our own Earth's interior. Man knows a lot about the Earth surface, including the surface of the ocean, but underneath, I venture that might fit in the category of more recent interest.

A mountain under the ocean is not a big deal, but the top being just 100 meters below the surface of the ocean, can make one wonder how we have missed that one for so long. But ocean bottom exploration is not done yet. That's what the ship that found it was there for.

Wow, it is hard to believe that a mountain could remain hidden
or undiscovered in these days, no submarines have been in that
area.

Mike.
It really is a wonder.
