Mayor Gets Pie In Face. Fights Thrower Until Bloody

Good for that Mayor! The picture of this "pie thrower" shows an individual who is probably a few bricks short of a full load. They way some people are behaving, anymore, I wonder if there aren't a whole bunch of water systems in this nation which are contaminated with Lead.
 
Well that mayor does seem to have some disturbing things said about him when I googled him, but I consider pie throwing a violent act and am against it. Not okay to touch or disturb other people in any physical way in public because you do not like them or what they represent IMO. Also think perhaps that mayor should have held the pie thrower for police using less brutality if that had been possible.
edited to add: I'm going to mention something else- allergies. Suppose the person hit in the face with a pie had a severe allergy to some ingredient in the pie and almost died or did die after being hit in the face with the pie? When people are prone to thinking of either hasty violence or assault with something they feel is harmless ( such as a pie) , they never ever seem to take the time to fully think out what the possible outcomes of their violence could be.
 
The pie thrower deserved a punch in the face, when you assault someone personally, expect payback, natural reaction!

That's right. And it's assault period. The thrower might be trying to minimize their assault by throwing a cream puff pie but it's assault. I did see this thrower and mayor have had encounters before. Probably pushed the envelope a little too far this time.
