Hello and good morning.

My name is Bob and I have really enjoyed reading this forum over the past few weeks. I often find myself up in wee hours and need to engage in quiet activities so as not to disturb my wife and found this forum to be a real bright spot, entertaining and uplifting. Thank you all.

I'm 62, the world considers me "retired" though I'm pretty sure unemployed is more accurate. I live in a small rural town in Iowa. I'm at the age where I keep looking around and find myself wishing that grown-ups were still in charge.

Most of my personal life philosophy has been gleaned from cartoons and t-shirts.

As for the title of the thread for those who may not know --" Howard the Duck trapped in a world he did not make".

Yes, I do envy those who can sleep...

Sorry you're out of work, I hope you can find another job before too long, but in this climate currently it's not hopeful.. but nice have you join us here...

As for movie'Howard the Duck' 86,one of worst movies of the 80's.I wonder what possessed these actors to appear in it,Lea Thompson,Jeffrey Jones,Tim Robbins
George Lucas produced but later disowned it
