Medical Aid In Dying

12 American states have Medical Aid In Dying (MAID). I believe the Federal Government should pass such a law, In that way anyone with a terminal illness or an age over age 80 could get out of life. Forcing folks to suffer for years benefits no one but the medical industry.

The catch- like with many things- is if something like that 'could' be helpful for 'some' people, it would surely be misused.
And unless I'm mistaken, I think it already is in some places.

No-one is forcing anyone to do anything.

MAID offers an option to end unbearable suffering in irreversible cases where there is no cure, no hope. It allows a patient compassionate dignity in preparing for their end-of-life. I believe there are safeguards in place to avoid mis-use.
