I said more beyond that but it was off-subject and unnecessary, someone had observed before that a 'delete' request was somewhat childish and was like saying 'I'm taking my ball and going home'.

I don't think there's a proper way to delete an opinion except to ask the admins to delete that post. Engineering boo-boo if you ask me. They should add the option to delete your own post. IMO. That's the main reason I refuse to text, once it's said and sent it's there forever!

Yes, I'm having cataracts removed after Xmas.

I also had both cataracts done. They asked me how far away I wanted my main focus to be (the distance), and I chose about 4-5 feet, as I sit back quite a ways from my computer monitor.

The results are spectacular. First, the "yellow-ish" color that had tinted everything is gone (that was the color of the cataracts), and I can read and see quite well. I do still have some up-close reader glasses (I think they were a few dollars at the store where my husband got them).

Anyway, big fan!
 
Yes, I had both eyes done several years ago, no problems and with good results....they did discover that I had macular degenerate when the surgery was done.

Some forum software packages have that option, some don't. Maybe contact Matrix and see what he's got in his Admin panel.
 
Up to a certain point, you can edit your post and remove whatever text you don't want there. Not sure how long that window of opportunity lasts, though.
