So let me start it off. I'm having a medical procedure done and I wanted to get an estimate of what my out of pocket cost would be as an out patient surgical procedure. I found this site and it gave me the answer. Medicare.gov/procedure-price-lookup/

I think by law your clinic and hospital are required to give you estimates if you request one.

Generally speaking, most of my out patient procedures required my either paying up front or making arrangements for payment.
