Medicare Ins.-No AI C. S. Agents

Yesterday, I had a 3.25 Hr. intense probe into a problem pertaining to an outrageous and unexpected Medicare ins. co-pay surprise of $600. The human touch I received from my Medicare Ins. Co's. C. S. agent and my Physician's office staff was the only way this situation could be solved. The fact I delt with human beings and not an Artificial Inteligent program on a computer is the only way some projects can be accomplished.

At 75 I consider myself adroit at computer skills but, when it comes to deciphering medical codes for a patient's inquiry it takes a human touch to accomplish.

To my point...It has become known that some insurance companies are delving into AI algorithms to communicate with patients and prospective patients. Choosing a Medicare provider, offering more than one plan, assigning or declining care needs involves an informed and qualified human agent. No doubt about it.

Plus, seniors deserve better, not cop outs for a better bottom line ($).

My first time on Senior Forums. I hope my subject matter is first, appropriate and 2nd. useful.
