Medicare Supplement Increase

On January first of this year I was newly insured with the AARP/United Health/ Plan F. Here it is June 24th and I have been notified that there will be a $10.00 per month increase.

$10 a month increase may be quite low, compared to what some may experience in 2017....and beyond. Some of the insurance companies are asking for 25%, or more, increases for 2017. I think most insurance plans are supposed to release their new rates around Oct. 1st....and if some of the news is correct, there is going to be some widespread "sticker shock".

I started with UHC when I first retired, they had the best rate..Then the next year they raised my monthly premium $100 a month!! I switched to Mutual of Omaha and never looked back!!

I have UHC for my drug plan. My wife, MIL amd myself got raised $20 each per month AFTER the open enrollment closed!!!
I will be searching again for another drug plan..
