The NBC-Comcast was a monopolistic atrocity enabled by a corrupt FCC official. I guess Comcast burned it's favors up for now.

Good that there's a wrench been thrown in their plan, they've monopolized way more than their fare share of the market as it is. They've already made it virtually impossible for the consumer to find sources that are more cost effective. Several companies that were providing, free to very minimal cost online and over the air channel connections were shut down due these mega companies lawyering up and fighting against them having the right to do so, those little guys didn't have the money to line pockets to keep in business.

Word has it that federal regulators are about to come out against the merger. Whew....This was a Captain Obvious decision that should've been made last year.

The witch is dead! Comcast gives up or 'abandons' plans on Time Warner mega merger. After they found out the deal would be blocked. Do not let Comcast lead you to believe these "abandoned" plans were just another tried idea or during the "normal course of business" which many corporations use to rationalize failure.
