Mega Rolls

Speaking of toilet paper, why all the push for Mega Rolls? It's about all Walmart stocks lately. They are too tight to actually roll in the wall bracket. and my canister that holds three normal or even three double rolls will hold zero mega rolls. They just don't fit.

That's almost all that's for sale at Walmart for sure. I hate them for the same reasons you do, rkunsaw. I found one kind of smaller rolls and bought them but the toilet paper is so flimsy I hate it. I have just had to resort to leaving the roll on the counter in reach until it gets small enough to put on the built-in wall holder. I have seen an "extension" apparatus that clips into the toilet paper holder and sticks out far enough for the big rolls. I'm going to get one of those the next time I see one.

I've noticed that, too- not only Walmart but also in grocery stores.
It's not a problem for me because I keep an individual roll on the sink and others from the pack in cabinet underneath sink. Reason: I have a cat; before cat I had kids; while none ever unrolled toilet paper rolls, I didn't want to take chances!

And speaking of TP ..... remember 1973, when there was another toilet paper panic thanks to Johnny Carson ....

I bought a towel holder that attaches under the cabinet not to the wall which easily accommodates the larger rolls.

Yes the rolls we buy from Costco do not fit on the toilet roll rod on the bathroom wall we’ve had to buy toilet roll canisters to hold them.

I buy Kirkland brand at Costco. The rolls fit my brackets & dispensers. I haven't noticed mega rolls there.
