Melatonin and Acid Reflux

Love when I learn something new every day, hit the jackpot again today. I don't have the reflux issue, now and then a little lately, but my friend is plagued with reflux issues...and I don't think she takes Melatonin. So I have some new info for her when she and I talk. I take 1mg with my sleep stuff.

So glad I have an open mind to all healing protocols. I avoid pharma drugs as best I can.

I hope these reports will be proven correct over time. I have acid reflux and have taken Ambien for sleep for quite awhile. I'm planning on lowering the Ambien dose and switching to Melatonin. I've tried this before and I guess I'm really hooked on Ambien because I was miserable, but I'm going to try again.

The first links talks about the dose for gerd of the Melantonin. I've taken a lower dose for years with my other stuff (inositol and gaba sometimes) and never have had gerd and I'm 80...so who knows but I thought the above link and info was interesting, makes sense too.

I take a little under 500mg L Tryptophan and P5P 50mg too for sleep....

I would never take Ambien but that's me and so much about how I feel about pharma drugs.
