The stories in our heads .
Villains and heroes and nothing in between.
Maybe our minds prefer clarity. Black and white.
My mind does descend into melodrama sometimes. Its a bad habit
How about yours?

When quite young I used to daydream

I learned this when sequestered to my room

Anyway, whether riding a city bus, or riding my bike to town, or doing chores, it was daydream time

Usually a wild woman was involved

From watching late late shows

Myrna Loy, usually…maybe...with some sorta short sarong

I was never really a hero

…but, just capable

My daydreams never seemed to have an ending

…so, the next opportunity was the next chapter…with a brief (now where was I?) recap

I'm prolly off the mark but are you talkin bout..

When the phone rings late at night and all that drama that goes through your head....

Cause I get that stuff all the time...

As far daydreamin on good things...don't happen for me...

im usually the poor maligned and misunderstood hero in some of my productions.
but other scenarios cast me as the wicked user and abuser. 😉

You have me confused with your saying there are stories in our heads with villains and heroes and nothing in between and descending into melodrama sometimes and yet saying maybe our minds prefer black and white clarity. That seems very contradictory until we stop to realize each of us do live with ambiguous thoughts and feelings that seem to change with the weather. Learning to understand that about ourselves without going bonkers is just part of life.

ambiguity and doubt can cause tension and stress. thats why people like certainty. im no different.
Everyone has good and bad points. but if we cant stand some of the bad points we might be tempted to put them on our naughty list.

don't know why but sounds like you are highly annoyed.
Im bailing out

I have no idea what you mean. It sounds like you are the one annoyed. Very strange.

I was just saying that I didn't consider you contradictory. And I quoted where I said that I didn't.
