Memorizing pi to 100,000 digits

Perhaps this OP is more about rote memorization , than about Math?
;)

I'm not sure the math word problems, mentioned above,
were truly about Math , either.

I'm also not sure why that word of conclusion in the OP. o_O:unsure:
Is that meant to indicate, the largest number of letters, in order, that you can memorize? :geek::sneaky::giggle::LOL::)

I did find that OP article and topic interesting,
and while pondering, afterwards,

I concluded for myself,
that if I were to spend the amount of time on memorization,
that those people must spend memorizing pi,
I could select many other things I'd rather memorize! ;):)

But if the pi had 1 dozen slices, and your cousin ate 2, and his friend took more than 2 to give to her aunt for her uncle's birthday the next day, and a neighbor's dog ruined less than 1 slice, and you put 1 slice into the refrig for tomorrow,

then how many slices would be left for you to eat, today? :unsure:o_O:geek::giggle::LOL:

P.S. I do not know the answer, so don't ask me! :sneaky::ROFLMAO::whistle::giggle:

I can't remember where I put my car keys. I can't remember my fifth grade teacher's name. Nor all my medication's names. Can't remember all the phone numbers on my phone. I can't remember to watch the TV shows I want to see. I can't remember the names of all my nieces' and nephews' current love interests. This Japanese guy memorized over 100,000 places of PI., which is a fantastic feat. Big deal, I can't remember twice that much.

The first 4 are taken, Lewkat. ;):)

A poster took the first 3, and I took the next 3. Could you help the group effort, and memorize the 7th through 9th or 10th?:giggle::geek::LOL:
If we all take turns, we could ...um.... I don't know how far we'd get.
:giggle::)

5,4,3,2 or 1,(amount depending upon greediness of friend of course! :) ).

Didn't we all get given a bean tin, ruler, and a piece of string to try to work this out in class once? :)
