Basically, this is a 13 minute video covering some research on the role of the microbiome in our gut. It's fascinating stuff. It discusses evidence that there is a connection between microbiome and autism, about how social we are, and how energy is stored in our body.
It's long been believed that humans developed as they did due to our microbiome. For example, the studies show how our brain size is partially due to the type of microbiome we possess. In other words, our microbiome played/plays an essential role in the making of a human being, and controls over how we behave.
