Midnight Special Pilot 1972

That showed up in my YouTube feed, also. Great stuff! ... especially Linda Ronstadt and the Everly Bros (IMO). Excellent songs and great voices... that was the golden age of rock music, although much of it was technically country music.

I'm a HUGE Everly brothers fan, so I was delighted to see them on there... and also Argent... fabulous!!

The Every Bros. had a huge influence on the Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, and many other singers of the era. It's too bad music like that doesn't exist any more. Now all the vocals are auto-tuned and pitch corrected and quantized and stripped of any trace of emotion. Bleh.

Oh yes I know that about the brothers... .... and I agree about the rest of your statement. Did you know it was Chet Atkins who gave Phil and Don their first break when they were kids?
