Mill-animal Generation?

Hey, just posting about the Millennial generation to get my frustrations out. This has to be the worst gen ever. Period, full stop!

We have been using a term for them for a few years...Millanimal! Because we feel they are a different species. Endless stories and statistics prove it. Here is but a tidbit...Worst relationships, job performance, financial management, self care, lower IQ, useless degrees, estrangement, and the list goes on.

The funny thing is, most of that generation were raised good and solid. 71 percent of stable, loving, caring and educational families, yet somehow turned out to be the worst. Our 2 kids were brought up in a happy healthy family, that we were proud of. Stable family, 2 working professionals (1 in govt, 1 in DND), great upbringing, had money, vacations, lots of family time, pets, movie nights, etc. No issues or problems, yet here we are today.

Of course I do not base my whole theory on our family...but...many families, managers, statistics, articles and my own experience in the Military. The last 3 years of my career, I essentially searched half the day for the young idiotic 'kids' that didn't show up at work or training, then the other half of my day writing reports on punishment measures and outcomes! So I speak with experience and a LOT of research. My brother is still in the Military and prays to god he makes it to retirement before he loses it! Lol! Anyone have experiences they would like to share? Please do.

Well I must say, I am shocked at how sensitive the world is today, that even inferred creates chaos. Especially in this generation. Probably why the world is in the state that it is. Somehow always triggering someone. But, thank you for your input. I will proceed accordingly in all further posts to ensure everyone is happy.

Since you have posted two very negative threads I have concluded that you must be a troll because really who joins a forum and does that???
Not negative, but truthful. And my opinion. No one has to contribute if you dont want to. Just move on if you choose. But a common theme in any and all forums...people who disagree or dont like something you said, they become a troll. Weird. In high school there was debate club. In university there was philosophy classes, logic, ethics, morality, law and justice and more. Both places you could debate or discuss any and all issues. Lay out your opinion, facts, theories and so on, but after all was said and done, your just people. People that agree to disagree. But now in this delicate world, its troll!

Not inferring, stating it outright. See above.
Well if free speech doesn't exist, then its a sad day. Also, the section on insults doesn't seem correct. Cause I am pretty sure the term juvenile was mentioned, and not by me. Is that not an insult? I do like the part about how if you don't like a post to move on. Yet people are arguing.

If you want free speech, take a trip to a Public Forum like Boston Common and recite a soliloquy.

Let's put this in proper perspective: this forum(like virtually all internet venues) is privately owned. You can exercise your First Amendment right to free speech out in Public.

Envision this: someone comes into YOUR private home and insists on saying whatever they want, regardless of what you might allow. Is that a protected 1st Amendment right, or just some jackass disrespecting your sovereignty over your own home?

that would be appreciated by everyone...
Well said Holly, proud of you. Many people recommend you simply ignore trolls and don’t respond in any way, but this gives the trolls even more power as it gives them the power to silence you. In order to be a verbal annoyance, trolls need a victim pool and a public forum of some kind, is where they will find an audience. How trolls gravitate to reaction, they love it. Chances are that it will take Matrix to resolve it.
