Well, Miss Nebraska won...........fantastic! Great to see a young lady for this great farming, ranching, corn State win.
 

We watched the whole thing. I was rooting for Miss Ohio, since she is a niece of a good friend. When she didn't make the first cut, I started rooting for Miss California. I was totally bummed when she didn't make it to final 5.

Miss Nebraska is totally gorgeous though.
 
I wanted Miss Nebraska, Miss Wyoming, Miss Colorado, Miss Idaho, Miss Montana, Miss North Dakota, Miss South Dakota or Miss Kansas to win. Miss Nebraska did and that was great to us. Yes, we wanted a Miss USA to come from one of the Rocky Mountain or Plains states to win.
