Alabama fugitive Casey White and jailer Vicky White have been captured in Evansville, Indiana, after a 10-day manhunt.


According to Lauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton, Casey White, 38, and Lauderdale County Assistant Director of Corrections Vicky White, 56, were spotted at a hotel and led police on a car chase, which ended with a wreck.


Vicky White suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head and has since been hospitalized, the U.S. Marshals Service confirmed to CBS News. Her condition is not yet clear.

I suspect she shot herself because she knew she's going to be spending a long time in prison, and no police officer or prison officer ever wants to be a prisoner, her life will be hell

...'way of lifestyle'....yah, she knew it was a 'high' and wouldnt last and she did it anyway.
one could prolly call this a "dopamine high". she got high anyway and it took her over.

We'll never know why she did it. By all accounts she had been a decent person before she did this.. what a waste of a life over a no good murderer...

Apparently the ex guard is heard scolding the inmate for choosing to stay in a motel right before she took her own life. There was brief speculation the inmate actually shot her but I've seen nothing since yesterday.
