Caddick, who was being investigated by ASIC before her disappearance, was accused of meticulously and systematically deceiving investors who handed over millions of dollars to her over seven years.

But instead of investing the money, it’s alleged she spent it on funding her luxury lifestyle, which included designer clothing and jewellery and travelling.

Assistant Commissioner Michael Willing said campers found a running shoe on Bournda Beach, south of Tathra, on Sunday. “Within that shoe, were the remains of a human foot.” “DNA from the foot was last night matched to DNA sample from Melissa Caddick’s toothbrush and family members.”

Good riddance.

Her days of screwing people over are done.

One more scumbag removed from this world, and one less scumbag to worry about.
What gets me Aunt Marg, is why people trust financial advisers like her with their millions, surely the motivation must be greed and a promise of huge returns, but with all these Ponzi-type schemes, the bitter end has to come eventually.
Glad I'm not rich and tempted. :)

You and me both, Mellow.

I believe people cannot see past their desire to have more... pure greed.

They have a one-track mind... materialism and greed, and it clouds their thought processes.

So, did they find the rest of her?

If all they found was a foot, she could be alive.

Walking with a severe limp, but alive nonetheless....

When I saw the title, I assumed she committed suicide. But it looks like someone got the justice they knew they'd never get from the legal system.

Apparently, she went into the ocean and her foot came off possibly either from decomposition in the water or maybe she jumped off a cliff onto some rocks maybe. But I just read they did find her remains washed up on a beach.
