My wife and I saw this earlier today and we both loved it. http://www.foxsearchlight.com/brooklyn/ What a marvelous film! Highly recommended for the incredible story, the acting and as a period piece. Takes place in the early 50s. The lead actress is a lovely young woman who leaves her small town in Ireland to find a new life in America. If you're in the mood for a really fine movie without foul language and violence, that has a good story and fine acting, consider this one. You won't be sorry.
