Back in the late 1980s - early 1990s I worked with a nice but somewhat naive woman who was the CEO's secretary. She was excited when her son gave her a VCR (remember those?) for Christmas and showed her how to use it.
She knew I was a movie buff, and sometimes she would ask me about a movie before she went to Blockbuster (remember those?) to rent it.
Imagine the challenge laid out for me when I discouraged her from renting:
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (she though it was a comedy and would be real fun to watch)
Pulp Fiction...(nuff said)
Deliverance (she thought it was a religious movie. Uh, no.)
