I have Microsoft Security Essentials as my "protection". Up until about 2 months ago, a quick scan took about 2 minutes and scanned around 72000 files. Then about 6 weeks ago it started taking 6 minutes to do a quick scan, but still scanned 72000 files. The last two weeks it took almost 15 minutes and only scanned aabout 40000 files. What is going on here?
