Much to my surprise, my cable company is actually going to reimburse me for the cost of repairing a sprinkler pipe.

It cost me $200 to get a pipe in my sprinkler system repaired after the cable company broke it while burying their cable. The fight to get them to acknowledge responsibility and reimburse me wasn't as bad as I expected. I did have photos of the damage their machine did, photos of the repair and the receipts.

They did try to talk me into eating the cost of the repair, but they did not succeed. They tried giving me the old "razzle/dazzle."
