Thank you everyone for your condolences...

@Lady, you're so right... my daughter has been side swiped enormously.. let me tell you all what happened in as short a story as I can.
Stan the elder ( black miniature labradoodle..both dogs are labradoodles.. the white one Digs is a standard size .).. she had 3 labradoodles , and this is the three musketeers , she lost the elder (brown)Scruffy to a stroke age 13 in 2019...
For the last almost 2 years Stan the Black one has been suffering ever worsening Dementia.. and old age.. not feeling pain, my daughter is verrry on top of her dogs ailments and ensures they never suffer pain.. but he was sleeping 23 hours in every 24 and not being fully aware of his surroundings.. .. she knew his time was very near and she managed to get him to celebrate his 16th birthday on Friday ...
In the meantime our very lively.. but rapidly becoming deaf, Digs... hurt his leg.. he jumped down from the sofa ( she has pet stairs ).. and yelped about 2 weeks ago. She nursed him, and after a day or 2 he was back to being his old self.. running around..
This morning, she knew it was time for Stan to go and take his last journey, and she took the day off work to take him to his favourite doggie park .. and just be with her and Digs on this beautiful sunny day.. before heading off to the Vet's... however just before they left home, Digs screamed in pain as he went over on his leg... and being a really stoical dog.. she knew him screaming out meant he must have broken the limb
She took both dogs to the Vet one to be PTS..bless him.. and while there asked them to check Digs.. ( the vets know both dogs well).. the vet said Digs had a ''catastrophic break'' in his leg, which was caused because his little body was riddled with bone cancer... even in his jaw.. where there was a lump... ...this had all appeared in the last month since their last Vet visit.. so was a complete shock to my DD... the vet said there was nothing they could do to help Digs... so my heartbroken Daughter found herself alone with both dogs, on her lap being PTS...

... ..
They're now at the Pet Cemetary being cremated, and she took their balls..they loved nothing more than fetch.. and Digger had a big sponge Bowling ball he loved.. to be cremated with them... ... ...god love them both ...2 better natured dogs would be very hard to find.. and they loved me.. their ''Gwanny'' with all of their little hearts..
