My afternoon out at the Old Mill....

Jordans' Mill in fact.. home of Jordans Granola, and meusli

Sadly the old mill wasn't open , but the little meadow , gardens, and restaurant was.. and the tiny shop was available also for cold drinks if people didn't want to wait in the long queues of the restaurant/cafe..
It sits on the River Ivel, which flows through Bedfordshire, the next county to ours going North

I'll just post the photos without explanation..I think they're all self explanatory...

The bridge leading from the gardens to the meadow & copse...

I was standing directly outside the ground floor door of the Old Mill .. but there was not enough space to stand back and get all the doors in...

Beautiful, thanks for sharing, Holly! It looks so pretty and green there; I grew up where it was pretty (mostly) and green, I do miss it so much!
