My day in the sun.. the pub, the restaurant, the Church, and the Market....

Very hot and humid here today.. almost 90 deg but the humidity was so high , my sunglasses kept slipping off..

My friend her mother and I went out today to a market town about an hour from here..

Reminds me of Newburyport in Massachusetts but more Englishy.

This church is the biggest and oldest in the county rebuilt in the 14th century

lots of houses like this all around town.. most built in the 1500's...

Snack time.. these are supposed to be crispy roast potatoes... never seen anything like them before.. they were tiny like mushrooms.. coated in some indistinguishable coating, which really didn't taste of anything.. and served with chilli sauce..

then when I got home, I noticed my roses on the trellis by my front door.. were in full flower from buds this morning

I'd like to show you the whole door, but clearly I can't.... but it's a riot of colour
