My Dog, Lucius, Is Famous. Kind of.

Great videos @Medusa thanks for posting.

Is that your jeep?
Yes, but we've recently sold it. Was my husband's project for a while and he loved it, but we decided to give it up to someone with the time and money to restore it properly.

Can you see the airbrushing on the hood? I can't remember from the video.

I really like jeeps, old and new, but never owned one. Except an old 1965 Wagoneer a long time ago. Every time I get close to buying one the practical side of me wins out... Still, maybe some day. And no, I don't think I can see the airbrushing, but the hood is a different paint color.

When I was in the Philippines in the late 80s the primary mode of transport there was the "jeepney". They had managed to keep most every jeep that landed with McArthur in WWII alive and upgraded. The primary upgrades wer extension and lots of decoration. The jeepneys served as busses in Manila and elsewhere. A jeep lover's paradise.

A "jeepney" looked like fun to ride in. :)

That's the airbrushing on the hood you're seeing. You probably can't tell in the video, but husband airbrushed it to looked like metal sheets had been riveted on. It's so realistic, one guy on an airbrush board he was part of at the time said that he worked on cars and knew riveted metal and that husband's jeep was definitely not airbrushed. LOL

Actually, I'm frustrated at the moment. Since Lucius' videos got so much more attention than the ones from my channel of last year, I decided to make it the, "Lucius" channel and create another one for myself. -- I don't know what I've done but now my youtube icon is Lucius and when I try to get to my new channel what comes up is the right icon and the right name, but with Lucius' videos.

I've had to take a break and step away, being reminded by peeps that nothing is going to explode if I take a day or two to straighten things out.

In the meantime, I do feel a bit like Lucius stole my youtube life! LOL (Cause he obviously posted those videos of himself.) ;)
