My dog was having a nightmare

So my rescue dog, Buddy, has nightmares from time to time. Well at 3:00 A.M., this morning, he was crying and growling. He sleeps in my bedroom with me on his dog bed about two feet from my bed. I got up and proceeded to talk to him, pet him and rub his back. Years of abuse when he was younger still haunt him I'm afraid.
So, I couldn't get back to sleep, but Buddy eventually did .

So, I stayed up and watched the World Series game from last night. I'm a lifetime SF Giants fan but unfortunately they didn't play that well this year...but the next best thing for Giants fans is hope the Dodgers lose and yes, they got their asses kicked in game 1 of the World Series last night.
Well, I still feel tired and dragging ass a bit but Buddy just starred moaning a bit. I guess I'm staying up and turn on my phone and check out Senior Forum!

That is so sad. Poor Buddy. Have you had him for very long? Do you think he will get past it?
