My favorite film composer, John Williams birthday is today he's 92
He has written many memorable film scores over the years,he's best known collaboration is with film director, Steven Speilberg. He has scored 26/ 29 of his movies. He has been nominated 54 times for an Oscar,the most for a living person.He has won numerous awards inc:
5 Academy Awards, 26 Grammys, 3 Emmys, 4 Golden Globes. In 2016, he won American Film Institute's Life time Achievement award- a first for a film composer In 2022,Queen Elizabeth II awarded him Honorary Knight Commander of British Empire for'services to music'
He composed music for 1984 Los Angles Summer Olympic Games, the theme music for NBC Nightly News
