February 14, Valentines Day is not far away, does anybody have a funny or romantic story to tell ?

When I was courting my wife she told me It was all nonsense and she did not believe in Valentine cards, so I did not send her one.

Come Valentines Day, 1961, as you've no doubt guessed, I of course received a card (addressed to "The Blonde Hunk"!).

I still have it.

I never missed again!

I have four boys. My last child was a girl. After she was born, I announced to my husband that he didn't have to give me anything for Valentines day ever again (not that he did much anyway) because he'd finally given me a girl!!!!
 
I've been a real heel on Valentine's Day and at different times, a darling, in equal proportions I expect.
 
I don’t have any funny stories to add but I do wish to add that my husband always gets me something special for Valentine’s Day.:heart: He also always gets a beautiful card and either takes me out for dinner or makes me my favourite things to eat.
He never slacks off in this department so I’m a very lucky lady:yes:
 
One valentines I filled the claw foot tub with cheap wine and expensive roses

Not a whole lot happened, as we ended up passing out in the tub
