We did, too, all of us practicing custody of the eyes as best we could. Our gym teacher would stand at the end of the showers and hand us towels as we headed back to the lockers, always with a warm smile on her face that I thought was kindness for our shyness. I found out years later that she was probably enjoying it more than we guessed.

yes ours too.. we had 3 Gym mistresses and 2 of them were blatantly gay....very masculine....

Fortunately ours didn't hand out towels, and in fact they weren't in the shower or cloakrooms when we were getting changed...

The Ironic thing is..today when kids desperately need the exercise of PE, much mkore than we did as kids... ... many schools have removed it from the Curriculum

we have this sometimes. Someone signs up to make a caustic comment... or very often it's someone who is already a member here under a different name,.. and is too cowardly to say it under the name we know them as
