My groovy shoes. It is October and winter is on the way, my shoes are worn, the soles flat in spots. I have a way so that my shoes may be safe, at least for another year or two. I pull out my trusty pocketknife in hand, and a razor knife too. With the slightest precision, I cut into the existing grooves, small little angles, twice on each side, then pull the rubber out and away. With better traction on my shoes the less I may slip and slide too. Alas I am away, wearing my groove shoes. And of course, my cane helps too.
