My Item on Marketplace was Removed

The reason - it went against their selling policies. I know they don't allow real money items to be sold, but my item wasn't real money, just a replica. I appealed, but it was denied.

You may want to look at it from a different perspective. What is a replica in terms of merchandise? A replica is also a fake or what is known to day as a 'knockoff'. What market owner wants to be accused of selling fake merchandise in his store? Not good for business.

The Canadian version of Face Book Marketplace has many sellers offering real gold and silver collector coins from the Royal Canadian Mint, plus foreign currency coins from Government Mints around the world. Nothing at all unusual here in Canada. I buy gold and silver coins from a company in Edmonton, Alberta that advertises on the Canadian Face Book Marketplace . I guess the US Face Book Market Place is different somehow ? JimB.

But I see knockoff fashions and accessories all the time.

I agree with you. Nothing is a faked fraud if it is described as what it is. I wouldn't touch real fur with a ten foot pole but I really like my faux fur purses. All kinds of things are replicas. "Fakes." What's old is new again.
