Believe it or not these photos of my area were all taken by me in the space of about 30 minutes earlier today . The weather was alternately sunny , and cloudy... ..currently it's sunny 70 F .. but 10 minutes ago it was cloudy

Wonderful, the last picture makes me homesick, except in my case it's firs and pines! I love those rural Brit homes. They look, compared to the car, cosy but as if they were built for much shorter people! We've grown a lot over the years, my grandchildren tower over me! The home also reminds me of Midsomer Murders! If you haven't watched that series, you should!

hahaha... that house wasn't built for shorter people, that a relatively modern house so the doorway is at least 6' 6 ( the house is about 60 or 70 years old )


You'll find that many little back to back houses tend to more prevalent in the towns and cities where in many cases they were built a couple of hundred years ago for the workers... and of course back then the average height for men was about 5.6...

Old pubs out in the countryside, tend to have shorter doors, but inside the ceilings are high usually..

HD I realized a few years ago that I love the grasses, such as the top picture. Some are not as "bushy" though. Very nice pictures...lovely area.
