My nerve block is scheduled

So after consultation with my surgeon, the pain management doctor decided on a nerve block, and I think it'll be the caudal nerve.

Here's hopin' for the best result possible
I have a friend that's also getting this done. He's so excited, he can't wait!
I've never heard of it before.
Good luck. #nomorepain

Never heard of this procedure before, Frank, but lots of luck!
They lay you on your tummy and stick things in your back, one of which is a port, and then they deliver chemicals directly to the nerve root via the port.

It's very much like this (only a few minutes long):

That patient appears to be sedated. I always opt to not take the sedative. Meditation works just as well for me. They still insist someone drive me home, though 😒.

This is how they did it 3 or 4 months ago, butt it didn't work because the chemicals couldn't get up through the spinal fusions I've had:

I am getting a spinal Chord stimulator implanted into my back . Check it out at pain.com. Before being considered for this procedure, I have to undergo a psychiatric assessment. My assessment is scheduled for 10/4.

The pain management doctor will attach it outside on my back. If the results are successful after 1 month, then it will be implanted.
