My Procrastinating Friend Has Swollen Feet

He did a virtual appointment and the doctor told him to go to Emergency. That was 3 days ago...he still won't go.

So I went over tonight and explained to him that I am not his mother...just a buddy who loves and cares about you...and to please haul your butt to the ER right away. He got very angry with me and even started throwing stuff around. He told me I was stressing him out unnecessarily.

I left his house feeling a bit sheepish. I'm just worried worst case scenario he might lose a leg or worse...even die. I don't know how he will address me next time we meet. I hope he cools off and takes my words to heart. That's all I can hope for.

Sounds like hes acting up cause hes scared. He figures that if he ignores the situation it might go away.
Going to the ER alone can be scary. Maybe he would be willing to go if you went with him?

My daughter said he's just angry with me because he knows I'm right. And yes...I offered to drive him to ER and stay with him if that's what he wanted.

We've never held grudges with each other in the past. Hoping this will resolve itself in a positive way.
