My Psychiatrist

Yes. I've mentioned before that I have an affliction, but I've been doing great for many months now.

So my daughter was with me during my last Psychiatrist appointment. I introduced her to my doctor and said...

"Anne here is taking Psychology at University to try and figure out her father."

Without missing a beat, my Doctor replies...

"Oh. You're going for your PHD?"



My Psychiatrist knows I love a good joke...I don't think he would have made such a remark to any of his other patients. But I really got a hoot out of that clever reply!

My funniest incident with a Psychiatrist I once had? True story...

I bumped into him off-hours at the local Pharmacy. He had a book in his hand.

Me: "Hi there doctor! What are you reading?"

Psychiatrist: "Um...it's a book about a patient who wants to kill his Psychiatrist."

Me: "Hey, relax! I'm just here buying milk!"

Mine quit me after a month. He said I was one of the most well balanced people he had met and made him feel bad.
