Australian woman Tegan Nuckey wants Naloxone (or Narcan, its registered trademark) prescribed by doctors whenever writing a script for opiods. Great idea IMO..........

I think opioid prescriptions are being discouraged in the past couple of years.....due to the abuses and addictions. There was a time, a few years ago, when it seemed like every time I went to the doctor or dentist, they were quite ready to write me a prescription for some OxyContin or some other derivative. I did take a couple of these pills after a root canal, but I didn't like the light headed and dizzy feeling afterwards, so I went back to an Aleve pill. Eventually I turned the rest of those drugs in at a local drug collection program.

Now, when I go to the doctor, or dentist, they no longer seem to be pushing these drugs.
