National Corned Beef and Cabbage Day - March 17th

Finally a special food day that I'll be able to do! We always have Corned Beef and Cabbage
today and I'm looking forward to it.

I'm making corned beef and Brussel sprouts for dinner. Brussel sprouts, apparently, is a type of cabbage. I didn't know that until I just Googled it.

I was made to eat Corned Beef as a child too often.
Absolutely hated it.
White sauce all over it.
"If you do not eat it, no dessert for you"
Many times I went without dessert.

I'm not a corned beef fan, but I like pastrami just fine. Is it okay if I pretend pastrami is corned beef today?
